Bio
David MacLeod is an avid Keaton admirer and the author of The Sound of
Buster Keaton. The book is one of the few dealing in depth with
Keaton’s post-silent career, and demonstrates that even after 1929 he
made many contributions to the art of film comedy. Recognized as a
major Keaton historian in Great Britain, MacLeod also publishes the
London Keaton Society newsletter and has authored two other Keaton
books. He is an insightful and entertaining speaker.
David recently celebrated his 15th year as an announcer on Channel Four
Television, in London. He loves running the British Buster Keaton Society,
The Blinking Buzzards which he co-founded.
